"Ahh... That hit the spot." Ron sighed as he put down his plate and leaned back on the couch.

"It sure did." Hermione said as she sat in between Harry and Ron on the couch. "We really should thank your mum, Ron for making us those pumpkin pies."

"Yeah, Mrs. Weasley's pies go well with our Halloween celebration, not to mention the anniversary of the day we all became so close" Harry said as he filled their glasses with pumpkin juice. "I think we ought to make a toast."

Ron stood up quickly and lifted his glass. "Can I do the toast?" Harry and Hermione glanced at each other, shrugged and then nodded at Ron. "Great, Cause I've sort of been practicing." Ron admitted before clearing his throat and continuing. "15 years ago today, the three of us were ickle first years at Hogwarts. I started off the day hoping to survive the school day and get a few treacle tarts at the Halloween feast before Harry here ate them all. I didn't think I would end the day facing off against a full grown troll and end up not only surviving, but making a lifelong friend" Ron nodded at Hermione and glanced at Harry "and finally realizing just how loyal my best friend, no, my brother is. I know we've been through some pretty messed up things, thanks to Voldemort and our stupid hormones, but we've also had some brilliant times as well. I'm glad that after everything that's gone on from petty fights to Voldemort's defeat and even us graduating from Hogwarts, that we're still a family. So, here's to us, may we always remember that our strength is in the bond we share."

The three clinked their glasses together and took a sip. "That was beautiful, Ron." Hermione said as she smiled at him.

"Yeah, Keep that up, and Hermione is going to have to upgrade you from having the emotional range of a teaspoon, to a soup laddle." Harry joked as the three friends resumed their places on the couch.

Ron laughed and threw a piece of candy corn at Harry. "Yeah, Well, don't get used to it. I told Luna about Halloween being the anniversary of the three of us becoming so close, and she suggested I put together a toast."

"That's excellent, Ronald." Hermione said beaming at him. "I'm glad to see you and Luna are doing so well."

"Me too" Ron said as he stood up. "Speaking of things going well with Luna, I told her I'd be over tonight, so I better get going."

The three friends said their goodbyes, promising to meet for lunch the next day as Ron put on his cloak and apparated to Luna's apartment building.

Hermione yawned and stretched as she started heading towards the bedroom. "I'm really tired, Harry, I think I'm going to go to bed."

Harry nodded as he flicked his wand at the glasses and pie plates, causing them to land neatly in the sink.

Hermione arched an eyebrow at Harry and said "Well, Aren't you coming, Mr. Potter?"

Harry smiled as he strode over to where she was standing. "But, I'm not even tired." he said with a twinkle of mischief in his eye.

Hermione licked her lips seductively before murmuring "Oh, I'm sure we'll find a way to tire you out."

Harry stared at Hermione for a moment before bending to whisper in her ear "You're insatiable, Mrs. Potter."

"Only when it comes to you, Harry." She whispered throatily as Harry began to kiss her neck. "Oh, and Harry? Happy Halloween."

Hermione could feel him smile against her neck. "You too, Hermione" he sighed before continuing his trail of kisses.

And those were the last words spoken for the rest of the night in the Potter flat.
