Fluffy Draco!

It's been a while since this community has been updated!

LOL, I had this insane idea involving Draco and a baking class. The fic is sooo OOC, but I thought it was cute. :p

Here it is:

Title: Mr. Betty Crocker
Author: Me! :p
Rating: PG
Characters: Draco Malfoy/OC
Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Draco sighed and silently cursed the new minister of magic for making him do this. After Potter defeated Voldemort, the magical community was ready for a minister of magic who wanted peace and understanding between magical beings and muggles. So, it should be no surprise that Aurthur Weasley was given the job. One of Mr. Weasley's "bright ideas" was to have at risk witches and wizards embrace muggles by learning how to do things the muggle way. So, as a death eater's son, Draco was deemed an at risk wizard. As luck would have it, this baking class was one of the last options available by the time he signed up.

Turning towards his oven, Draco turned the oven off and reached in to grab the pan. "Bloody Hell!" Draco muttered as he dropped the hot pan. For the third time that class, Draco had burned the sodding cake. Just then, the instructor passed by and shook her head.

"Mr. Malfoy, You must make sure to keep an eye on your cake while it is baking. You can't keep it in the oven too long" Mrs. Toft chastised as she moved on to the next student.

Shaking his head in disgust, Draco bent down to pick the cake pan off the floor, when he saw a floral oven mitt snatch it off the floor and place it on his work table. Looking up, he saw the oven mitt was attached to a really pretty blonde.

The blonde woman smiled at Draco. "My name's Emily. I hope you don't mind me helping out a bit. I figured you wouldn't want to burn your hand again." She said as she indicated to his bare hands.

"Thanks" Draco answered smiling back. "My name's Draco, by the way." he added while shaking her hand.

"Nice name. Doesn't it mean bad faith in French?" She then laughed and added "Maybe your cake doesn't trust you."

Draco laughed and said "Maybe. Or it could be I'm not very good at this baking thing."

Emily smiled. "It's not too hard once you get the basics down. For instance, this comes in handy" She said as she handed Draco an oven timer. "You set this for 25 minutes and it will ring when it's time for you to take your cake out of the oven."

Draco and Emily spent the rest of class talking while preparing and baking their cakes together. Draco couldn't remember the last time he'd ever had such an enjoyable conversation with anyone. He was beyond shocked to realize just how much he enjoyed spending time with this muggle woman. In no time at all, the oven timer went off and Emily handed Draco an oven mitt.

"I wouldn't want you to burn your hand again" She said as she put on her own oven mitt.

Draco thanked her and carefully took his cake out of the oven.

"Much better, Mr. Malfoy!" he heard Mrs. Toft exclaim as she went around examining the cakes.

10 minutes later the class was dismissed and Draco found himself waiting for Emily in the parking lot.

"Looking for someone?" Emily asked as she fished her keys out of her purse.

"Yeah, I was looking for you. I wanted to thank you for helping me in there. I was hoping maybe I could buy you dinner?"

Emily smiled and nodded her head. "I'd love that. Let's go to that diner just across the street."

Draco couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face as he thought that he might actually have to thank Mr. Weasley for something. Who would have thought Aurthur was right about muggles after all?
